Rabat—Morocco strengthened their advantage against Cameroon in the AFCON 2025 quarter-final as Ismael Saibari made it 2–0 with a composed left-footed finish at 74th minute.

The goal came from a well-worked set piece, with Nayef Aguerd delivering the decisive pass following a free kick. Saibari showed great composure inside the box, guiding the ball past the goalkeeper to give the Atlas Lions a crucial cushion.

Before that, Brahim Díaz scored the opening goal in the 26th minute. The goal came from a corner delivered by Achraf Hakimi, which Ayoub El Kaabi flicked on, allowing Díaz to tap it in from close range. This gave Morocco a deserved lead after early pressure.

The second goal rewarded Morocco’s growing control of the match. With the crowd fully behind them, the Atlas Lions moved a step closer to securing a place in the AFCON 2025 semi-finals.
