On the men’s side, Ammar Koumghar secured a podium finish by taking third overall, while ranking second in Africa and first in the Arab world, highlighting the Moroccan team’s competitiveness.

Ziad Bouchikha secured fourth place in the aquathlon, while Adam Karmadi came in sixth, both helping the national team deliver a strong overall performance. These events provided Morocco’s young triathletes with crucial experience on the continental stage, equipping them for upcoming international competitions.

Majid Amahroq, president of the Royal Moroccan Triathlon Federation, praised the athletes’ achievements, noting that their performances reflect Morocco’s growing level in the sport and open doors to new international qualifications.

He emphasized the consistency of Moroccan athletes throughout the events in Al Galala and described their results as motivation to continue building momentum and aiming for further successes.
