Arsenal have identified Brahim Diaz as a key transfer target ahead of the summer window, the website vichajes reported on Monday, adding that the Premier League side is exploring a potential €40 million deal for the Real Madrid attacker.

The London club is actively shaping its squad to take a decisive step toward Europe’s elite, and Diaz has emerged as a strong option thanks to his versatility, technical quality, and experience at the highest level. Arsenal’s interest comes at a time when the Moroccan midfielder is reassessing his role in Madrid, where he has struggled to secure consistent playing time.

At 26, Diaz finds himself at a crossroads. Despite being under contract with Real Madrid until 2027, his lack of consistency in a highly competitive attacking lineup has opened the door to a possible departure this summer. While Real Madrid are not actively pushing him out, there are various reports linking Diaz with a €40 million exit from Los Blancos.

Reports indicate Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta sees Diaz as a natural fit for his team’s system. His ability to operate across multiple attacking positions, combined with his creativity and movement, aligns with the tactical demands of the Spanish coach. The Gunners believe his profile could add dynamism and depth to their frontline as they aim to compete for major honors.

The coming months are expected to be decisive. Negotiations between the clubs, alongside the player’s own ambitions, will determine whether Diaz continues his journey in Madrid or embraces a new challenge in North London.
