Rabat – The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has officially announced the start of ticket sales for the upcoming 2026 Africa U17 Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will take place in Morocco from May 13 to June 2.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Friday, at 3:00 p.m. local time through the official platform, WeBook.
The first sales phase concerns matches scheduled at Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium, including Morocco’s opening match of the competition.

Morocco preparing to defend its title at home
Ticket prices have been set at affordable rates:
- MAD 30 for Category 1
- MAD 20 for Category 2
The federation hopes the pricing will help create strong attendance throughout the tournament, especially for Morocco’s matches.
The Morocco U17 football team heads into the competition as defending champions and one of the favorites once again on home soil.
The Atlas Cubs continue their preparations at the Mohammed VI Football Complex under coach Tiago Lima, with the squad increasing the intensity of training ahead of the opening game.
Morocco will officially begin the tournament on Wednesday, May 13, against Tunisia at Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
The host nation has been drawn into Group A alongside Tunisia, Egypt, and Ethiopia.
This tournament is very important because, beyond the continental title, qualification for the next FIFA U17 World Cup is also at stake. The eight teams reaching the quarter-finals will automatically secure their place at the 2026 FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar.
These are Africa’s most promising young talents that are participating, so the tournament is will attract a lot of interest from scouts and clubs ahead of kickoff, and hopefully, fans.
