3D printing and artificial intelligence emerged as key highlights during the opening of the 7th edition of “Morocco Dental Expo 2026,” which kicked off on Thursday in Casablanca with the participation of a wide range of professionals, experts and companies specialized in digital and medical technologies for the dental sector.
Innovations related to the digitalization of dental care, advanced diagnostic technologies and smart medical solutions occupied a central place throughout the exhibition halls and scientific conferences organized on the sidelines of the event, reflecting the accelerating technological transformation currently reshaping healthcare systems worldwide.
Held at the International Center of Exhibitions of Casablanca (ICEC) in Aïn Sebaâ, the event is scheduled to run until May 10 under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation. It is part of the broader national effort aimed at modernizing Morocco’s healthcare system and improving the quality of medical services.
The 2026 edition features broad international participation from countries including Morocco, France, Italy, China, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Germany and Pakistan, reinforcing the exhibition’s growing international dimension and its positioning as a major African platform for showcasing the latest technological advances in dentistry.
More than 7,500 professional visitors are expected to attend the exhibition, alongside over 120 exhibitors spread across an area exceeding 8,000 square meters. Participants represent various segments of the dental ecosystem, including medical equipment manufacturers, laboratories, digital solution providers, training institutions and companies specialized in management and financing services.
The event is also a professional networking space bringing together general and specialized dentists, dental technicians, healthcare institution managers, university professors, students and stakeholders from the healthcare sector.
Alongside the exhibition, the event hosts the 10th edition of “Dental Tribune” under the theme: “The Future of Dentistry in Morocco: From Foundations to Digital Innovations.”

The scientific program includes more than 35 conferences and over 40 hours of continuing education sessions led by Moroccan and international experts, covering the latest developments in implantology, orthodontics and medical imaging, in addition to innovations related to artificial intelligence and 3D printing technologies.
Speaking during the opening session, Imad Benjelloun, director of “Atelier Vita,” the agency organizing the event, said that “Morocco Dental Expo” has become a reference event for dental health practitioners in Africa. The exhibition is a “100 percent Moroccan initiative,” he emphasized, noting that it contributes significantly to the promotion of Moroccan expertise and the international visibility of the country’s dental sector.
Dr. Mohammed Asdira, president of the National Council of the National Order of Dentists, highlighted the importance of supporting the transformations taking place within the sector. He stressed the need to strengthen professional regulation and combat illegal practices that threaten patient safety and undermine the profession.
Professor Saïd Dahhimi, president of the exhibition’s scientific committee, underlined the importance of scientific research and continuing education in developing national competencies and keeping pace with global technological and scientific developments in dentistry.
Dounia Medioni, vice-president of the Moroccan Association of Medical Device Professionals, also stressed the importance of private sector involvement in improving the quality of healthcare services and medical equipment, praising the exhibition’s role in fostering cooperation among stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem.
Several high-ranking officials and healthcare stakeholders attended the opening ceremony, including representatives of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sciences and Health as well as partners and professionals from both the public and private sectors.
Through its seventh edition, “Morocco Dental Expo” aims to strengthen its role as a strategic platform for the development of Morocco’s dental sector by combining innovation, training and knowledge sharing in support of a more modern and sustainable healthcare system.
