Rabat – King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and compassion to the family of Ali Fassi Fihri after his death.
The monarch said he received the news with deep sorrow and strong emotion. He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and expressed sympathy to relatives and friends, sharing their grief over this loss.
In his message, the King recalled the late Fassi Fihri’s long public career and the responsibilities he held across key national institutions. He mentioned his leadership of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) and his role as president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
The King described him as a man of integrity and loyalty, with a strong sense of duty. He also referred to his commitment to public service and his attachment to the country’s core values and institutions.
He prayed for mercy for the deceased and asked for divine reward for his contributions to the nation. The message also included religious references that call for patience in times of loss and affirm the belief that all return to God.
The King also extended support and compassion to the family, wishing them strength and solace in this difficult moment.
