Casablanca — Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over the graduation ceremony of the 26th Advanced Defence Course and the 60th Staff Course today at the Royal College of Higher Military Education in Kenitra.
The ceremony was held following the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR).
Upon his arrival at the college, the Crown Prince was welcomed by the Inspector General of the FAR and Commander of the Southern Zone, as well as the Director of the Royal College of Higher Military Education. He then reviewed a Royal Air Force detachment that rendered military honors.
The Crown Prince was also greeted by senior officers from the General Staff of the FAR, the Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, the Wali of the Rabat-Sale-Kenitra region, the Governor of Kenitra province, the delegated military commander of Kenitra, and members of the teaching staff.
During the ceremony, he attended a presentation on the contribution of the FAR to international peacekeeping and humanitarian assistance operations.
He later awarded advanced military education certificates carrying the rank of specialized master’s degree in national defense, along with Staff Course diplomas, to Moroccan and foreign officers enrolled in the two programs.
The director of the college also presented the Crown Prince with a collection of work produced by the trainees during the academic year, including a selection of research papers prepared by participants in the Advanced Defence Course.
The 26th Advanced Defence Course and the 60th Staff Course graduated a total of 304 officers. Among them were 88 officers from 32 different countries.
The ceremony concluded with commemorative photographs bringing together the graduating officers, foreign trainees, and members of the civilian teaching staff.
