Rabat – MAS Fes have won the Botola Pro title for the first time in 41 years after defeating Olympique Dcheira 2-0 in the final round of the season.

The victory gave MAS 59 points from 30 matches, enough to finish top of the table ahead of RS Berkane, Raja Casablanca and FAR Rabat.

MAS entered the final day knowing that a win would remove any doubt over the title race.

They delivered in front of their supporters at Fez Stadium.

After a tense first half, MAS found the breakthrough in the 52nd minute through Tahiri.

Chbani then scored the second goal in the 72nd minute, giving the home side control of the match.

Olympique Dcheira had been reduced to 10 men before halftime after Boughaz received a red card in the 41st minute.

MAS controlled large parts of the game and finished with 66% possession.

The 2-0 win confirmed their place at the top of Moroccan football after one of the club’s most important seasons in decades.

First league title since 1985

MAS Fes had not won the Moroccan league since the 1984-85 season.

The club had been waiting 41 years to return to the top of the Botola.

Before this season, MAS were already one win away from ending that long drought after their rivals dropped points in the closing rounds.

Their final record shows why they deserved the title.

MAS finished the season with 16 wins, 11 draws and only three defeats.

They scored 40 goals, conceded 17 and ended with a goal difference of +23.

MAS finish ahead of big rivals

The final table placed MAS first with 59 points.

RS Berkane finished second with 57 points, while Raja Casablanca ended third with 56.

FAR Rabat finished fourth with 55 points.

The title race remained tight until the end, but MAS stayed calm when it mattered most.

Their consistency across the season made the difference, especially with only three defeats in 30 matches.=

The title brings MAS back to a position the club had not held since the mid-1980s.

It also gives the city of Fes one of its biggest football moments in modern history.

For a club that spent decades waiting for another league crown, this season will be remembered as the year MAS finally ended the drought.

MAS are Moroccan champions again.
