Agadir – Morocco’s National Tourist Office (ONMT) has launched a call for tenders to develop a new-generation Morocco Pavilion for the world’s leading tourism trade fairs to strengthen the country’s global tourism presence and create new business opportunities for Moroccan operators.
ONMT announced today the launch of a call for tenders to design, build, operate, and manage a redesigned Morocco Pavilion that will be deployed across seven major international tourism fairs starting in 2027.
ONMT said the initiative is part of its strategy to promote Morocco in priority international markets while expanding commercial opportunities for the country’s tourism industry.
The office said the pavilion is designed to serve as a business development platform, with every square meter dedicated to generating economic value for Morocco’s tourism ecosystem.
The pavilion will be structured around three complementary spaces. The Main Zone will host Moroccan tourism operators, Regional Tourism Councils (CRTs), Royal Air Maroc, and cultural activities showcasing the country’s heritage.
A second section, the Territorial Immersion Zone, will offer visitors an interactive sensory journey through Morocco’s tourism regions using a different scenography at each international event.
Meanwhile, the Premium Partners Zone will provide dedicated exhibition space for hotel groups, destination management companies (DMCs), and other tourism partners seeking greater visibility among international buyers.
ONMT will also open the Morocco Pavilion to a broader range of tourism stakeholders, including restaurateurs, tourist transport providers, excursion operators, outdoor recreation specialists, activity agencies, and creators of cultural experiences.

According to the office, the expanded participation is intended to present a more comprehensive view of Morocco’s tourism offering while fostering new commercial partnerships across the sector.
ONMT said the pavilion’s design will be adapted to the expectations of each market, highlighting the distinct characteristics of Morocco’s regions while presenting a unified national tourism identity. Visitors will also experience live culinary demonstrations, artisan workshops, artistic performances, and digitally enhanced immersive experiences.
The Morocco Pavilion will be showcased at seven major international tourism events: FITUR in Madrid, ITB Berlin, Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, ITB China in Shanghai, IFTM Top Resa in Paris, World Travel Market in London, and IBTM World in Barcelona.
ONMT noted that these trade fairs play a strategic role in shaping the global tourism industry, influencing airline connectivity, tour operator programming, and travel demand.
Through the new-generation Morocco Pavilion, ONMT aims to further strengthen the country’s competitiveness as a global destination while increasing partnerships with international airlines and tour operators, positioning the pavilion as a strategic driver of tourism growth.
