Rabat – Moroccan international Sanaâ Mssoudy has joined French women’s club FC Fleury 91 from AS FAR, the French club announced on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old forward has signed a contract with Fleury 91 until June 2028, marking her first move to European football.
A new chapter in France
Fleury 91 welcomed Mssoudy on social media, highlighting her performances with the Moroccan national team at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The versatile attacker arrives in France after several successful seasons with AS FAR, one of the leading clubs in African women’s football.
Mssoudy helped the Rabat-based club win several domestic titles, including 10 Moroccan Women’s Championship titles and 9 Moroccan Women Throne Cups, as well as the CAF Women’s Champions League in 2022.
Strengthening Fleury’s attack
Mssoudy is expected to add more options to Fleury 91’s attacking line as the club competes in France’s top women’s division, Arkema Première Ligue.
Fleury has established itself among the competitive teams in French women’s football. The club reached the Coupe de France final in 2024 and finished fifth in the league in both the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.
Mssoudy’s move represents another step in the growing presence of Moroccan women footballers in European leagues and gives the Atlas Lioness an opportunity to continue her career at the highest level.
