Rabat – Turkish club Fenerbahçe is reportedly preparing a lucrative salary offer to convince Moroccan international Brahim Díaz to join the team during the January transfer window, as Juventus also monitors the Real Madrid playmaker.

According to Turkish newspaper Fotomaç, Fenerbahçe has identified Díaz as a key target to strengthen its attacking options and is willing to offer him an annual salary exceeding €10 million to secure his services.

The Turkish club views the Moroccan international as a versatile attacking player capable of operating in both midfield and forward positions. His technical ability and attacking qualities have reportedly attracted the club’s attention ahead of the winter transfer window.

However, Fenerbahçe could face competition from Italian giants Juventus, who are also interested in signing the 27-year-old. The Italian club is reportedly monitoring his situation and could move early to strengthen its chances of completing a deal.

According to the Turkish newspaper, Fenerbahçe’s financial resources could give it an advantage in negotiations over personal terms, potentially putting pressure on Juventus as both clubs consider their options.

Díaz’s limited playing time at Real Madrid could also influence his future. According to the report, he has played in three La Liga matches and one UEFA Champions League fixture this season, accumulating a total of 178 minutes.

The lack of regular minutes could encourage the Moroccan international to consider a move that would offer him more opportunities to play. However, a potential departure from the Spanish club would depend on several factors, including Real Madrid’s position and the terms of any proposed transfer.

Madrid’s contract

Díaz remains under contract with Real Madrid until June 30, 2027. Spanish media reports have also raised the possibility of a contract extension, suggesting that the club could seek to retain the player rather than allow him to leave for a low transfer fee.

This contractual situation could complicate efforts by Fenerbahçe and Juventus to reach an agreement. Any potential move would require negotiations with Real Madrid, unless the club changes its position on the Moroccan international’s future.

Fenerbahçe is not the first Turkish club to express interest in Díaz. Galatasaray reportedly attempted to sign him during the previous summer transfer window but failed to convince either the player or Real Madrid to complete the move. The club subsequently turned its attention to other options.

With the January transfer window approaching, interest from Fenerbahçe and Juventus could put Díaz’s future at the center of transfer speculation. Nevertheless, no agreement has been confirmed, and the Moroccan international remains a Real Madrid player.
