Rabat – Members of Morocco’s royal family will travel together to China for a private visit this Wednesday.
Morocco’s King Mohammed VI will be accompanied by his oldest son, Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, and his brother, Prince Moulay Rachid, during a visit to Hong Kong, according to “trusted” sources cited by Le360 news website.
The royal family is expected to depart Morocco and arrive today in the Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.
This visit to Hong Kong is part of King Mohammed VI’s New Year’s private vacation with his loved ones.
The Moroccan monarch and his family will be accompanied by several other personalities during the New Year festivities.
According to the same source, members of the Royal Cabinet have been in Hong Kong for nearly a week in preparation for the king’s holiday celebration.
Last year, King Mohammed VI chose Turkey to celebrate the holiday season and spend New Year’s Eve festivities.
