Marrakesh – Teaming up with the Association Arts et Cultures and the Japan Foundation, the Japanese embassy in Morocco is organizing the second edition of the Japan Anime Days. The event is set to captivate Moroccan audiences with its unique blend of graphic artistry, cinematic brilliance, and imaginative storytelling.
From Monday, August 5, to Thursday, August 8, the fairgrounds of Mohammedia will transform into a hub of anime magic, as stated by the organizers in a press release shared with Morocco World New.
Screenings of Anime movies will run daily from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, offering a double dose of animated wonders.
On the schedule is “Misaki no Mayoiga” (The House of the Lost on the Cape), directed by Shinya Kawatsura.
This 2021 film, spanning 105 minutes, is a heartwarming mix of drama, slice of life, and the supernatural.
Next up is “Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho” (The Place Promised in Our Early Days) by the renowned Makoto Shinkai. Released in 2004, this 91-minute film blends adventure, drama, romance, and science fiction, promising a nostalgic yet thrilling experience.
Rounding off the lineup is “Kaijuu no Kodomo” (Children of the Sea), a 2019 masterpiece by Ayumu Watanabe.
This 111-minute film dives into the genres of adventure, drama, mystery, seinen, and the supernatural, ensuring a thought-provoking end to the series.
