Rabat – Industrie du Maroc Magazine will organize the 5th edition of the Industry Meeting Days on April 28 and 29 in Tangier at the Hilton Al Houara, under the theme: “Industrial Investment: Engine of Jobs and Economic Prosperity.”
Organized in partnership with the Moroccan Ministry of Trade and Industry, the event will build on the recommendations of King Mohammed VI, who recently stressed the need for Morocco to build a strong industrial ecosystem with the aim of reviving the national economy and strengthening the country’s position in key sectors.
The King made the recommendations last month in a message addressed to the participants of the first edition of the “National Industry Day.”
“Our industry is called upon today, more than ever, to promote local production in a competitive manner in order to reduce this dependence, enhance our resilience, increase our competitiveness, and consolidate Morocco’s position in promising sectors,” the monarch said.
The Industry Meeting Days will cover a wide range of relevant topics, including orienting industrial investment towards “priority sectors,” and reducing territorial disparities in terms of attracting investment, indicated a press release.

It will also touch on the new investment charter and ways to strengthen Morocco’s integration into the global value chain.
“World-renowned” speakers, government representatives, and national and international actors in the industrial and economic sectors will take part in the event and participate in fruitful exchanges, noted the press release.
According to the organizers, the event will serve as an opportunity to “unite the commitment of the various stakeholders, strengthen efficiency and harmony between the actors, and to consolidate the efforts made to date, in support of national and international investments.”
In addition, the wider economic and industrial ecosystem will have the opportunity to participate in the Industry Meeting Awards, which will reward the “best achievements in the industrial sphere” with 13 trophies, concluded the statement.
