Morocco’s Atlas Lions Market Value Stands at MAD 2.4 billion

With a market value of €227.4 million (MAD 2.4 billion), the Moroccan national football team ranked first in market value out of the Arab teams that have qualified for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the Transfer Market indicated.

Rabat – With a market value of €227.4 million (MAD 2.4 billion), the Moroccan national football team ranked first in market value out of the Arab teams that have qualified for the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the Transfer Market indicated.

The Moroccan squad is followed by Tunisia (€66.4 million), Saudi Arabia (€30 million), and Qatar (€18.90 million) respectively. The national team ranked 16th among the 32 teams participating in the global tournament.

England led the ranking among all the teams that qualified for the upcoming World Cup, the same source indicated. The English squad is valued at €1.4 billion (MAD 15.2 billion).

Brazil followed in second place with a market value of €1.1 billion ( MAD 12.4 billion), while France ranked third with €898.00 million (MAD 9.7 billion).

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Costa Rica (€18.8 million) came in at the bottom of the ranking respectively.    

With a market value of €65 million (MAD 707.6 million), Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi is the most valuable player in the Moroccan Squad. The Paris Saint-Germain star is followed by FC Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui with a market value of €20 million (MAD 217.7 million).

Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech ranked third with a market value of €17 million (MAD 185 million), ahead of Sevilla FC goalkeeper and winner of the Zamora Trophy Yassine Bounou, whose market value stands at €15 million (MAD 163 million).

The much-anticipated World Cup will take place between November 20 and December 18. The Atlas Lions’ will be playing against Croatia on November 23. The national team will then lock horns with Belgium on November 27 and Canada on December 1.
