French football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is actively pursuing a second goalkeeper in the summer transfer market and has set their sights on Yassine Bounou.

According to a report from RMC Sport, the Sevilla shot-stopper, known for his solid experience and reliability, has emerged as a top target for the French giants. Discussions have already commenced between PSG and the player, as reported by RMC Sport.

With Sergio Rico sidelined due to sustaining a long-term injury in a horse-riding accident, PSG is in need of a reliable backup goalkeeper to support their Italian star Gianluigi Donnarumma. 

Morocco’s Yassine Bounou has emerged as a strong contender for the role, converging reports have indicated. 

The RMS Sport report suggests that PSG sees Bounou as an attractive option due to his wealth of experience and consistent performances over the past several seasons, especially his outstanding saves at the World Cup. The potential transfer fee for Bounou is estimated to be around €15 million.

Bono’s word-class performances for Sevilla and the Moroccan national team have garnered him a significant fan base worldwide. Following his outstanding saves at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, his popularity soared to new heights among football enthusiasts and observers alike.

The 32-year-old remarkable penalty saves were the highlights of Morocco’s shootout victory over Spain in the round of 16. Additionally, he played a key role in his team’s surprising 1-0 win against Portugal in the quarterfinals.

At the end of the tournament, FIFA included Bono among the top three goalkeepers in the world for the past year. World football’s governing body praised the Sevilla star for being an essential part of Morocco’s successful World Cup campaign. 

Bono’s stellar performances on the world stage have solidified his reputation as a top-class goalkeeper. 

His agility and shot-stopping abilities have impressed both fans and experts, making him a standout figure in the footballing world. As his career progresses, Bono’s contributions to both Sevilla and the Moroccan national team continue to earn him widespread admiration and acclaim.
