Morocco ranks 66th in industrial competitiveness

Morocco ranks 66th in industrial competitiveness

Rabat – Morocco is ranking 66th in terms of industrial competitiveness, according to the global report on industrial performance published by the UN industrial development Organization (UNIDO).

In addition to 8 basic indicators, the report takes into account an industrial competitive index which compared countries’ capacities to produce and export its processed goods in a competitive manner.

In the Middle East and North Africa region, Morocco is behind Egypt (62), but precedes Oman (69) and Jordan (72). Japan ranks first, ahead of Germany and Korea.
