Taroudant, Morocco- The Jury of the Dubai auditions for the season three premiere of Arab Idol on MBC 1 were charmed on Friday by the angelic voice of a Japanese singer when she started singing a classic song by Fairouz, Aatini al Nai.

Nao Koyasu, 29-years-old, blew away the jury and the audience by her perfect rendition of one of the most beautiful songs of the Arabic diva, Fairusz.

Having impressed the jury by her wonderful performance of the Arabic song, Koyasu left the room with her golden ticket, which allows her to contest in the television show.

Nao Koyasu studied Japanese-style Vocal under Keisuke Hama and also studied Middle Eastern-style Vocal under Prof. Khaled Bessa of Conservatoire national de musique de Tunis.

The Japanese singer reminded the audience of of the American singer Jennifer Grout’s third-place finish in last year’s Arabs’ Got Talent, who also entertained her fans with mind-blowing renditions of Oum Kalthoum’s songs.
