Rabat – Police in Nador, a city in Eastern Morocco, arrested a suspect under national search warrant for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking on Sunday.
A statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) said that the suspect, who has multiple criminal records, was accompanied by a police inspector working in Nador.
Police seized large quantities of cocaine and a small amount of of cannabisresin in the vehicle.
Security services placed the suspect along with the policeman in custody for further investigation to determine the circumstances of the case and to arrest other accomplices involved in drug trafficking.
