Rabat – Tamwilcom, a state-backed financing initiative for Moroccan businesses, started a nationwide roadshow on May 19, to present its latest offering for small businesses across Morocco.
With Casablanca as its first stop, the roadshow is set to travel to all regions across Morocco with the aim of supporting the business makers.
The roadshow is organized around the theme “Financing Moroccan companies: New perspective for economic recovery.”
Scheduled to take place between May 19 and July 7, the Tamwilcom roadshow will stop in eight Moroccan cities, namely Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Laayoune, Tangier, Fez, Oujda, and Rabat.
Organized by Morocco’s SNGFE agency dedicated to boosting financial inclusion among the country’s business makers, the roadshow’s primary aim is to support the objectives of the Intelaka financing program and Morocco’s national strategy for financial inclusion.
SNGFE first launched a pilot phase for the Tamwilcom program on January 31 of this year, with the pilot phase taking place in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region.

Through this roadshow, SNGFE hopes to bring its operations closer to regional private sector players.
In particular, the agency plans to hold a number of meetings with the Regional Investment Centers (CRI), the country’s General Confederation of Moroccan Businesses (CGEM) to acquaint them with the program and its offerings.
It also plans to hold a series of meetings with the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment, and the National Office for Vocational Training (OFPPT).
The highlight of the Tamwilcom program is the new “Fin-Crea” platform, offering a wide range of services for Very Small Businesses (VSBs) that are less than one-year-old, including support to access banking services and obtain loans to grow their business activities.
