Rabat – JADARA Foundation, a non-profit association committed to providing equal and quality education for young people in Morocco, celebrated their achievements in volunteering by organizing the inaugural edition of “Change Makers.”
This annual networking event took place on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the Villa des Arts in Casablanca.
“Change Makers” aimed not only to express gratitude for the unwavering support of the organization’s volunteers and partners but also to showcase the significant impact JADARA has made over its 21 years of existence.
In collaboration with the Al Mada Foundation, the event sought to highlight the transformative contributions of Jadara’s donors and partners in the lives of thousands of young individuals from all 12 regions of Morocco.
JADARA Foundation has successfully brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a community of volunteers always ready to share their knowledge and support.
Hamid Ben Elafdil, President of JADARA Foundation, proudly stated that nearly 70% of the foundation’s beneficiaries excel in their university studies, a testament to the organization’s commitment to empowering young students.

Additionally, tutors working closely with JADARA’s beneficiaries shared their experiences and praised the commendable achievements of the students, bringing honor to the founders and volunteers of JADARA.
During the event, Bochra Skali, a banking executive, spoke to Morocco World News about the impactful work of the JADARA Foundation.
As a passionate volunteer and advocate, Skali actively raises awareness and supports JADARA’s mission to guide and empower aspiring students. She emphasized the collective responsibility to help youth achieve their goals and praised the noble mission of JADARA, expressing her desire for similar organizations to exist for Arab youth worldwide.
Zineb Oumoudid: A Success Story Enabled by JADARA
Zineb Oumoudid, a veterinary medicine student at Rabat’s Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute (IAV), shared her personal experience with JADARA’s scholarship program.
Oumoudid described the program as a “golden opportunity” that not only provided access to quality education but also facilitated the development of a strong professional network.
The impact extended beyond academics, fostering personal growth, confidence, and independence, she noted.
The event saw the participation of Ahmed Reda, President of Morocco’s Economic, Social, and Environmental Council (CESE), Ryad Mezzour, Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade, and Abdellatif Maazouz, President of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Council.
JADARA Foundation, recognized as a non-profit association of public utility, is devoted to breaking down barriers imposed by socio-economic conditions and ensuring that all young people in Morocco have the opportunity to succeed in their life projects through access to quality education.
