These two friendlies are part of the National Olympic Team’s preparations for the coming Olympic Games, which will be hosted in Paris in the summer of 2024, the Moroccan Royal Federation of Football (FRMF) announced on Friday.
The games will be held at the Fez Sports Complex starting at 8:00 p.m. GMT+1.
The Brazilian Olympic team won the last edition of the Olympic Games held in Tokyo in 2020, making it a good opponent for a Moroccan team preparing for success at the Paris Games.
The 2024 tournament will take place between July 26 and August 11 and will mark Morocco’s return to the Olympic football stage after twelve years of absence.
In July, Morocco overcame Egypt in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON)’s finals 2-1, claiming the tournament championship for the first time in history.
