As such, the statement added, the forum would be delving into the potential transformative impact of creative expressions within the dynamic landscape of the hospitality sector.

Annual Internship & Networking Forum at UM6P
The Internship & Networking Forum serves as a platform for students, hotels, companies, and seasoned professionals to come together, fostering an environment conducive to learning, networking, and the exchange of valuable insights.
The day-long event started with an opening conference where the panel discussed the impact of art on the field of hospitality.
Panelists channeled their different expertise to speak to art’s transformative potential in the hospitality industry, providing students with a well-rounded understanding of how creative expressions can drive positive change and foster diversity.
On the sidelines of the forum, a number of panel members spoke with Morocco World News about the event’s significance in nurturing new leaders within the hospitality sector.
“ We can be proud as Morocco to have such an infrastructure. Not only the infrastructure, but we can also be proud of this youth, this new generation passionate about travel and hospitality, and this internship program,” said Hamid Bentahar, president of the National Tourism Confederation and Accor Hotel Morocco.
“It’s an opportunity to bring all the big international brands, but also all the Moroccan brands are present here to connect with the future leaders of tourism in Morocco.”

Student-Led Excellence
This forum is meticulously organized by students, with the primary objective of creating a platform that not only enhances the opportunities available to students but also facilitates the expansion of their professional networks.
In organizing this event themselves, students stand to gain valuable hands-on experience in event planning, networking, and exposure to industry insights. This is in line with UM6P’s vision of fostering a holistic approach to students’ educational and professional development within the field of hospitality.
“We are very proud to say that this event is prepared by students during a course which is event planning and banqueting,” said Asmae Hajjani, a member of the SHBM Team. “So all that you see, you can see here is done by students and is part of their curriculum.”
Sharif Khalifi Douaa, a student involved in the organization, shared with Morocco World News her insights into the coordination of the Internship and Networking Forum at the School of Hospitality, Business, and Management (SHBM), covering all aspects related to guest arrangements.
“The event is organized by students for students, and I had the opportunity to work on the operations before the event. During this time, I was responsible for handling transportation, accommodation, and anything related to the guests,” she said.
