Rabat- Al Ain Forward and Moroccan international Soufian Rahimi has emerged as a top target for Spanish club Sevilla and Saudi club Al Ittihad, according to Kora Plus.

As his Emirati club  Al Ain prepares to face Al Hilal in the AFC Champions League semi-finals, Rahimi’s outstanding performances have piqued the interest of several clubs vying for his signature. Sevilla FC and Al Ittihad Jeddah are dominating the race, with strong plans to sign the prolific winger.

Rahimi has piqued the interest of several clubs after his outstanding performance in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League against Saudi club Al-Nassr, a match that featured Cristiano Ronaldo.

His key participation in Al Ain’s victory over Al-Nassr, particularly scoring a goal in the first leg and two goals in the second leg, has raised his reputation and has since drawn the interest of possible suitors.

Rahimi demonstrated his talent on the pitch on Friday, March 15, scoring three goals in a recent encounter to lead Al Ain to a dominant 4-0 victory over Ajman. This outstanding performance not only guaranteed Al Ain’s standings but also increased Rahimi’s appeal to clubs looking for top talent in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Soufiane Rahimi has been called up for the Moroccan national team squad following his outstanding performances. Head coach Walid Regragui has summoned him to represent the national team in upcoming friendlies against Angola and Mauritania, which are planned for March 22nd and 26th, respectively.

This squad announcement has grabbed headlines, especially due to the inclusion of the long-awaited Real Madrid rising star Brahim Diaz. The 24-year-old Diaz, who recently changed his sporting nationality from Spanish Moroccan, after featuring in various youth teams for the Spanish national team, is set to make his debut for the Moroccan squad.

As speculation mounts surrounding Rahimi’s future, Sevilla, Al Ittihad, and other interested parties are closely monitoring the situation, eager to secure the services of this 27-year-old Moroccan star.
