Rabat – The Moroccan national team is putting the final touches on its training camp today as they prepare for a high-stakes showdown against the Netherlands.

The Atlas Lions are scheduled to face the Dutch side on Tuesday in a highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 32 clash at the Estadio BBVA.

Ouahbi is scheduled to hold a press conference tonight at 10:45 PM Moroccan time to discuss the squad’s readiness for the upcoming knockout match. Star goalkeeper Yassine Bounou will join the manager to address the media and share insights into the team’s preparations.

Following the press conference, the Moroccan team will hold its final training session at 1:00 AM Moroccan time on Monday. This last session will allow the coaching staff to finalize their starting lineup and tactical plans before taking on the Netherlands.

The squad enters this final session with high morale, looking to build on their group-stage momentum. With a spot in the Round of 16 on the line, the Atlas Lions are fully focused on executing their game plan and delivering a historic performance against the Dutch side.

The Atlas Lions secured their place in the knockout phase following an impressive, unbeaten run in Group C. Collecting a total of 7 points, Morocco qualified in second place, just behind group leaders Brazil on goal difference.

If Morocco defeats the Netherlands, they will advance to the Round of 16 to face the winner of the match between South Africa and Canada.
