Rabat – With only two appearances in Manchester United colors, Noussair Mazraoui is already making an impressive impact on the team.
The Moroccan international has been nominated for the club’s Player of the Month award.
The other two nominated players are Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho.
Joining from Bayern Munich this summer, Mazraoui has quickly caught the eye of the English club.
In just two matches, the Moroccan defender has proven to be more than just a supplementary addition for the Red Devils.
His outstanding performances have earned him a nomination for the club’s Player of the Month award, highlighting his immediate influence on the team.

“It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for our summer addition from Bayern Munich, but Mazraoui has slotted into our backline like a glove,” Manchester United wrote on their website.
His ability to read the game and intervene at crucial moments has been praised by fans and observers alike, who see him as a player capable of solidifying Manchester United’s defense.
“Starting at right-back during both of our Premier League games so far, his performance against Fulham was one of confidence and style as he thwarted the Cottagers time and time again with multiple interceptions and tackles,” the team added.
His second match against Brighton further confirmed these positive impressions.
Mazraoui not only neutralized one of Brighton’s most dangerous players, Kaoru Mitoma but also displayed his technical quality by providing an assist to Amad, marking the latter’s first assist in Manchester United colors.
This all-around performance demonstrated that Mazraoui is not just a solid defender but also a player who can contribute offensively.
Mazraoui, who began his international career with Morocco in 2018, was selected by coach Walid Regragui as one of the 27 players to represent the nation in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in December 2023.
