Rabat – The Moroccan government has officially recognized the Arts et Métiers Campus in Rabat, marking a major milestone for the institution.
The institution, born from a partnership between the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade and the esteemed Arts et Métiers institutions in France, has now achieved official recognition as a public higher education establishment managed by a private status foundation.
This hybrid structure aims to blend academic excellence with a dynamic focus on research and entrepreneurship, mirroring the successful model of the eight Arts et Métiers campuses in France.
It is equipped to offer programs and confer degrees equivalent to those awarded in France.
The institution provides a wide array of programs, including the prestigious Programme Grande École (PGE), a Bachelor of Technologies for the Industry of the Future, and a professional bachelor’s degree. All courses are conducted at the esteemed Mohammed VI Polytechnic University campus in Rabat (UM6P).
This official recognition paves the way for future growth at the campus, opening up additional opportunities for students, researchers, and entrepreneurs in Morocco.
Earlier this year, it was announced that students at the Arts et Métiers campus can now obtain dual engineering degrees.
The PGE, previously offered exclusively in France, has been officially approved to be made available at the Rabat campus. The decision followed the recommendations of a successful audit conducted in January 2024.
Founded in September 2023, the campus was designed as a hub for nurturing young talent and driving research and innovation initiatives.
