Casablanca – Morocco is preparing to compete this week in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Finals, with the Turkish city hosting the worldwide celebration of innovation and creativity from November 28-30.
A historic milestone for Morocco
The WRO 2024 marks a turning point for Morocco, with the country preparing to send five exceptional teams to represent it in the world’s largest gathering of robotics talent.
These young innovators earned their place on the global stage following an impressive performance in the national finals, held in Casablanca earlier this year.

“Nextech” from Casablanca – competing in Future Innovators Senior
What to expect
Hosted in the vibrant city of Izmir, the WRO Finals promise three days of intense competition, collaboration, and discovery.
Young participants, aged 8 to 19, will tackle complex challenges that test their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and robotics skills.
