Rabat – Moroccan company Maghreb Oxygene has taken a significant step forward by earning three prestigious international certifications, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.

More than formal recognition, this accomplishment represents the company’s thorough dedication to excellence across all operational aspects, from process quality to environmental governance and energy management.

CEO of Maghreb Oxygene Youssef Guennoun said that this achievement confirms the company’s “dedication to continuous improvement as we anticipate customer requirements while honoring environmental considerations.”

The company considers earning the certifications as milestones in its ongoing commitment to improvement, reflecting its sense of accountability to both customers and business partners.

“These certifications reflect our pledge to create a sustainable future by placing excellence and responsibility at the heart of our strategy,” Guennoun noted.

Each certification delivers specific advantages. The ISO 9001 certification ensures continuous operational refinement, enhancing customer experience.

ISO 14001 reflects the company’s disciplined approach to resource management and environmental protection.

The ISO 50001 certification shows Maghreb Oxygene’s determination to minimize carbon emissions, addressing one of today’s most pressing global challenges.

The company structures its approach around three fundamental strategies. They focus on process mastery and ongoing enhancement through structured approaches to refine their commercial operations, manage expenses effectively, and enhance their workforce capabilities, crucial elements for maintaining competitiveness and longevity.

Their environmental initiative includes waste reduction and repurposing, careful water resource administration, and sustainability practices aligned with ISO 14001 guidelines.

For energy efficiency and sustainable development, they focus on optimizing energy usage, funding eco-friendly industrial technologies, decreasing carbon output, and establishing long-range commitments to environmentally responsible industry practices consistent with ISO 50001 standards.

The company further demonstrates its commitment to transparency by joining the EcoVadis platform, enabling stakeholders to monitor their progress and assess their social and environmental responsibility performance.

Maghreb Oxygene launched in 1977 as a subsidiary of Moroccan conglomerate Akwa Group. It specializes in the production and distribution of gases to establishments in the fields of health, food, industry, metallurgy, and aviation.

In 2019, the company won the name of Best Medical Gas Supplier 2019 in the MENA region.
