Mohammedia – Schneider Electric, the global leader in energy management and automation, has announced it will hold its first Innovation Day in Casablanca on September 30, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The full-day event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will bring together business leaders, engineers, technology experts, and students to discuss the future of digital transformation and sustainable energy, the company said.
It added that the event is designed to showcase how companies across different industries – from automotive and energy to manufacturing and cloud services – can transform their operations using smart, digital, and eco-friendly solutions.
Schneider Electric experts and invited industry leaders will lead presentations and panel discussions, while also offering networking opportunities for professionals and innovators in Morocco.
Supporting Morocco’s energy and digital transition
Schneider Electric’s Innovation Day Casablanca comes at a crucial time for Morocco, with the country unrelentingly working toward becoming a regional leader in clean energy and industrial modernization.
Morocco has already invested heavily in renewable energy projects, including the Noor Ouarzazate solar complex, one of the largest in the world.
By hosting the event, Schneider Electric is showing its support for Morocco’s transition toward sustainability. The company says the event will focus on helping businesses reduce their energy use, cut carbon emissions, and adopt smarter systems that improve efficiency.
“Innovation Day Casablanca shines a light on sector leaders who are transforming their businesses by adopting sustainable and smart solutions,” Schneider Electric said in its event announcement. “This is an opportunity to share innovative ideas and inspiring perspectives that will serve the digital economy and the ecological transition.”
Who is Innovation Day for?
The event targets a wide range of audiences, including architects, engineers, building system integrators, facility managers, industrial automation specialists, housing developers, energy system integrators, and even students or job seekers interested in future careers in sustainability and technology.
Sessions will cover topics such as:
- Automotive and e-mobility: showing how electric vehicles and charging infrastructure can support Morocco’s growing mobility needs.
- Cloud solutions and services: exploring how digital platforms can improve efficiency across industries.
- Energy and chemicals: highlighting new technologies to reduce environmental impact.
- Industrial manufacturing: focusing on automation, efficiency, and sustainable production.
Building on Schneider Electric’s presence in Morocco
Innovation Day is part of Schneider Electric’s broader commitment to Morocco. Earlier this year, the company inaugurated a new training and service hub in Casablanca.
The 1,100 square meter center aims to train over 1,000 technicians, engineers, and professionals each year in areas such as renewable energy, automation, and Industry 4.0.
Frederic Godemel, Executive Vice President of Power Systems & Services at Schneider Electric, said at the opening of the hub that the company wants to “help Morocco and its businesses speed up the energy transition and make use of cutting-edge solutions.”
By combining Innovation Day with long-term investments like the training hub, Schneider Electric is positioning itself as a key player in Morocco’s journey toward digital and green transformation.
A platform for collaboration
Schneider Electric has said that the Innovation Day format is not just about showcasing technology but also about creating a platform for collaboration between governments, businesses, and innovators.
The Casablanca edition is expected to attract professionals from across Morocco and North Africa, reinforcing Morocco’s growing role as a hub for sustainable innovation in the region.
The event’s agenda includes keynote speeches, breakout sessions, and live demonstrations of Schneider Electric’s latest technologies in automation, energy management, and smart systems. Attendees will also have the chance to network with peers and experts from different industries.
