Morocco coach Walid Regragui has spoken out on the importance of health and education, saying both are top priorities for the Moroccan people.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the Atlas Lions’ upcoming fixtures against Bahrain and Congo, Regragui urged for calm and mutual respect in all forms of protest.
“Health and education are the most important things for Moroccans,” he said. “Demonstrations should remain peaceful, in a spirit of respect – without chaos or violence.”
The national team will face Bahrain in a friendly on October 9 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, before hosting Congo on October 14 in the same venue. Both matches kick off at 20:00 local time.
