Rabat – Morocco’s Hind Bennani has been crowned the Morocco Pool Tour Ladies champion after defeating Sara Fathi 7-6 in a closely contested final.
Bennani held her nerve in the decisive stages to secure the title in a final that went all the way to the 13th frame. The victory adds another title to the Moroccan player’s growing record in cue sports.
The tournament is part of the MPT Ladies – 1st Edition, scheduled from September 25 to 28 in Morocco under the Ultimate Pool Association. The competition brings together leading Moroccan women players on the pool circuit.
Fathi, who finished runner-up, has also enjoyed a strong 2026 season. She won the second edition of the Ladies Pool Series in February and finished second in both the LPS 3 and LPS 4 events in July.
Bennani entered the event with significant experience across several cue-sports disciplines. She previously won the 2025 World Women’s Snooker/WSF Challenge Cup, while also claiming the Arab American 10-Ball title in 2024 and 2025.
Her international record also includes the 2023 African Women’s Snooker Championship, where she defeated fellow Moroccan Yasmine Eythrib 3–0 in the final.
The new title comes shortly after Bennani announced that she would represent Morocco at the 2026 World English Pool Championship in Marrakech, which runs from September 17 to 28. She was included among the Moroccan women selected for the home tournament alongside Fathi, Yousra Matine, Yasmine Eythrib, Mariam Alami and other Moroccan players.
The 7-6 victory over Fathi therefore adds another chapter to Bennani’s already extensive Moroccan and international cue-sports résumé, while highlighting the growing competitive level of women’s pool in Morocco.
