Samsung Opens CES 2026 with Focus on Home Tech, AI integration

Mohammedia – Samsung opened Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2026 with the first major press conference of the year, unveiling a range of televisions, audio products and connected home devices during its annual “First Look” presentation.

Held at the start of the global tech show, the event set the tone for Samsung’s direction in consumer electronics, with a strong emphasis on display technology and artificial intelligence.

While several products had been announced ahead of CES, the presentation brought them together under a broader vision focused on connected experiences across the home.

Micro RGB televisions take center stage

One of the most striking moments of the presentation was the reveal of a previously undisclosed 130-inch Micro RGB television.

The display was showcased as a centerpiece installation, mounted on a large metal easel with integrated speakers.

Samsung did not announce pricing or availability, positioning the device as a showcase for its display capabilities.

Samsung also detailed its expanded Micro RGB TV lineup for 2026. After debuting a 115-inch Micro RGB model last year priced at $30,000, the company confirmed it will offer smaller screen sizes, including 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models, alongside larger options such as 85-inch, 100-inch and 115-inch versions.

The Micro RGB range is designed to deliver full coverage of the Rec.2020 color space, a benchmark that exceeds what current OLED panels typically achieve.

New audio products highlight design and immersion

Samsung also showcased its Music Studio wireless speakers, which were available for hands-on demonstrations following the keynote.

The Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 support both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity and are positioned as lifestyle audio products.

The Music Studio 5 features a four-inch woofer paired with dual tweeters, while the Music Studio 7 uses a 3.1.1 configuration with multiple directional speakers designed to create a three-dimensional audio effect.

Samsung placed particular emphasis on the visual design of the speakers, which stood out alongside their audio specifications.

Freestyle+ projector builds on portability

The Freestyle+ micro projector was another product on display during the event. Building on previous Freestyle models, the new version retains its compact, portable form while offering improved brightness and updated AI features.

Samsung said the projector is designed to automatically adapt to different viewing environments, supporting use across multiple spaces without manual adjustments.

Soundbars and AI features expand the ecosystem

Beyond the stage presentation, Samsung displayed additional products in its demo area, including the HW-QS90H soundbar.

The all-in-one 7.1.2 system includes 13 drivers and an integrated Quad Bass Woofer system, removing the need for an external subwoofer.

Artificial intelligence was a recurring theme throughout the event. Samsung demonstrated AI-driven features across multiple devices, including noise cancellation that removes sports commentary, recipe viewing on refrigerator displays and optimized washing cycles in laundry appliances.

These demonstrations reinforced the company’s push to integrate AI across its home product ecosystem.

Samsung is expected to share more details and product updates as CES 2026 continues between January 5 and January 7, held in the Latour Ballroom at the Wynn Las Vegas.
