Rabat – Low-cost carrier Ryanair will expand its connections with Morocco during this year’s summer season, adding a new route between Valencia and Rabat and increasing flights to Tangier.

The Valencia-Rabat route will run twice a week, and looks to strengthen ties between the two countries and support tourism and business travel, the airline said.

Ryanair will also increase the number of flights between Valencia and Tangier to meet strong demand from travelers.

The airline’s summer program from Valencia will offer 59 destinations with 336 weekly flights, a 2% rise compared to last year.

Alejandra Ruiz, Ryanair’s spokesperson in Spain, said the plan gives travelers more destination options at competitive prices and reflects the airline’s effort to grow its network and improve air links.

Tickets for all flights are available now, with schedules running through October.

The move follows the airline’s December announcement of its fifth Moroccan base in Rabat, a $200 million investment launching in April 2026.

Two aircraft will operate 20 routes from Rabat-Sale Airport, including seven new international connections to cities such as Milan Bergamo, Porto, and Valencia, adding 79,000 seats in its first season.

This expansion sets the stage for Ryanair’s broader summer 2026 program from Valencia, which now includes new flights to Rabat and increased service to Tangier.
