Rabat – Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has reportedly made it clear that Vinícius Jr. is not available for transfer, as Arsenal continue to monitor the Brazilian forward’s contract situation at the Santiago Bernabéu.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal have identified Vinícius as a priority target to strengthen their attack this summer and are closely following developments surrounding his contract negotiations with Real Madrid.
The report says Mourinho has informed Real Madrid’s board that he has no intention of parting ways with the 26-year-old, viewing him as one of the cornerstones of his project for the upcoming season.
Alongside Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham, Vinícius is expected to play a central role in Mourinho’s plans as the Portuguese coach looks to build a squad capable of competing for domestic and European titles.
