Rabat—PSV Eindhoven took another big step toward the Eredivisie title yesterday, beating Heracles Almelo 3–1 away from home on matchday 25. As has often been the case this season, Ismael Saibari played a decisive role.
The Moroccan international struck early to put his team firmly in control. PSV had already taken the lead in the 9th minute through Ivan Perišić, who converted a penalty. Just four minutes later, Saibari made it 2–0. Positioned at the edge of the box, he controlled the ball and unleashed a precise right-footed effort that flew into the top-right corner.
PSV continued to press and were rewarded again before half-time. Dennis Man rose highest to head home the third goal, with VAR confirming the strike after a brief review. At 3–0, the match was effectively decided. Heracles managed to reduce the deficit late on through Lequincio Zeefuik, but the visitors never looked in real danger and saw out the game comfortably.
The Atlas Lion had also found the net earlier in the season against the same opponent during PSV’s 4–3 win over Heracles on December 13, 2025.

The victory keeps PSV at the top of the Eredivisie standings with 65 points, 17 clear of second-placed Feyenoord. It was their 21st league win of an already dominant campaign.
For Saibari, this goal was another good showing in what has become a standout 2025–26 season. He now has 12 goals and 5 assists in 21 Eredivisie matches. In the Champions League, he has added 3 goals in 7 appearances, bringing his total to 19 goals in all competitions for PSV so far.
Beyond the numbers, Saibari’s influence is clear in the way PSV play. He combines energy, technical quality and a growing sense of authority in the final third. Week after week, he delivers in important moments.
