Marrakech – The Paris Saint-Germain Academy is set to open a new site in Fez on Sunday, hosted at the Euromed University campus. The launch makes Fez the third Moroccan city to welcome the French club’s youth football program.

The Fez opening day will feature discovery sessions of the facility, training led by PSG-certified coaches, matches, and talent identification exercises. Access will be organized by age group, with strict adherence to designated time slots. Registration is mandatory, and places are limited per session.

The expansion to Fez follows a steady push by PSG into the Moroccan market. The club first opened an academy in Casablanca in September 2024, located in the Tamaris area. That facility includes a full-size football pitch alongside 5-a-side, 7-a-side, and 9-a-side courts, as well as padel courts and relaxation areas. It caters to boys and girls aged 4 to 18.

Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, who joined PSG in 2021, played a central role in the Casablanca inauguration. The club has acknowledged that Hakimi’s presence in its ranks deepened its connection with Moroccan fans.

In August 2025, the academy expanded further with two new sites in Rabat. The first, in the Agdal neighborhood’s Belle Vue area, offers a football pitch, a sports hall, a gym, an athletics track, and a heated indoor pool. The second operates within the 20-hectare Hassan II Park in the Hassan district. Both Rabat centers accept children aged 4 to 12.

The Casablanca project is led by Daoud Boulanger, a UEFA and CAF-licensed coach who previously worked with both the French and Moroccan football federations. All PSG Academy sites use the club’s proprietary training methodology, with coaches trained at the Paris center.

Founded in 2005, the PSG Academy operates in 21 countries with over 210 training sites and more than 50,000 enrolled children worldwide. The club has signaled that additional openings in Morocco are planned as it seeks to establish the country as a key hub within its international academy network.
