Rabat – Morocco’s General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and Morocco’s Ombudsman Institution signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday in Rabat aimed at improving public services and making administrative procedures simpler and faster.
The agreement focuses on strengthening institutional cooperation to modernize government services, improve their quality, and make them easier for citizens to access. It also aims to support better handling of public complaints through the role of the mediator.
According to a joint statement, the deal is part of the National Police’s Open Days event and reflects ongoing efforts to support digital transformation and simplify administrative procedures.
The agreement will establish a technical coordination framework between the two institutions. This will allow the Mediator of the Kingdom to process requests and files more efficiently, speed up decision-making, and improve communication with citizens.
Both institutions also aim to expand the use of secure digital services and modern technology in managing administrative relations with the public. This is expected to improve service quality and reduce the time needed to handle cases.
DGSN’s Open Days, taking place until May 24, showcase the directorate’s work, modernization efforts, and security services, while also strengthening public engagement and transparency.
