On Sunday evening, the Ibn Yassine Stadium in Rabat hosted an electric atmosphere for the RS Berkane vs Raja Club Athletic futsal match, with an enthusiastic crowd of Raja supporters present during the game, singing their hearts out from the opening kick-off until the final whistle.
Berkane managed to bag six goals, most of them coming in the first half, before Raja could even respond after about an hour of play. The scorers for the Orange side were Mehdi Aïssa, Raed Akdi, Ismail Amzal, Abdelkabir Boukdir, Soulaimane Amhaj and Ahmed Rawas, while Hamza Salami was the only goal-scorer for Raja.
In a great show of support and loyalty, Raja players were celebrated and given applause by their fans, calling their team “champions” until the very end, reflecting the true -spirit of the club.
Berkane qualified for the final by defeating Saqr Agadir 5-0 in the semi-finals. Raja secured their final spot by defeating Kawkab Kenitra 8-1 in their semi-final.
