Rabat – FIFA has announced that fans will be granted access to select pre-World Cup training camps as part of its “Community Training Sessions” initiative for the 2026 tournament.

FIFA’s “Community Training Sessions” initiative requires participating national teams to open select preparatory practices to the public at their team base camps.

The program aims to connect international squads with local communities and fans during the pre-tournament phase.

By opening these sessions, FIFA extends the World Cup experience beyond the main match venues, allowing supporters a closer look at team preparations.

The Moroccan national team is among the featured squads in this initiative, giving fans a unique opportunity to attend an open practice aimed at connecting players and fans during the final warm-ups.

The open session is scheduled for Thursday at 6:00 PM local time at The Pingry School, where the Moroccan national team will be based for its pre-tournament camp.

Morocco is competing in Group C of the 2026 World Cup alongside Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti. The Atlas Lions, who reached the semifinals in the 2022 tournament, will play all of their group matches in the United States.

Following their open training session in New Jersey, they are scheduled to open their tournament campaign against Brazil on June 13 at MetLife Stadium, followed by fixtures against Scotland and Haiti.

The Atlas Lions are currently ranked 8th globally in the official FIFA Men’s World Rankings. This position places them at the top of the African continent heading into the tournament.
