FIFA has officially revealed the 2026 World Cup fans’ best XI three days after the tournament’s final. The lineup features dominance from Spain and France with three players each, alongside one standout inclusion: Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha.
The squad included three players from World Cup champions Spain: New Real Madrid signee Marc Cucurella, Tottenham Hotspur’s Pedro Porro, and Manchester City Midfielder Rodri, who claimed the World Cup Best Player award.
Three French players were also named to the Best XI: Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano, his club teammate Michael Olise, who finished as the tournament’s top assist provider, and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe, the tournament’s top scorer with 10 goals.
Finalist Argentina followed closely with two players, including Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez and Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi, following his standout tournament performance with 8 goals and 4 assists.
As for the remaining players, the lineup featured England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, Norway’s Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, and the tournament’s surprise standout, Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha.
And with that, the official team chosen by fans as the 2026 World Cup Best XI is: Vozinha, Pedro Porro, Upamecano, Lisandro Martinez, Cucurella, Rodri, Bellingham, Olise, Messi, Mbappe, and Haaland.
