Rabat – Morocco’s national futsal team secured a convincing 6-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina in a friendly match on Thursday evening at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
Anas El Ayyane led the scoring with two goals, while Anas Dahani, Sofiane Bourrit, Mohamed Boulouh, and Othmane Idrissi each found the net once.
The comfortable victory is part of Morocco’s preparations for the 2026 Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, which Morocco will host from October 12 to 21.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday in another friendly as Morocco continues its preparations for the continental tournament.
Morocco enter the competition as defending champions. The Atlas Lions were drawn in Group A alongside Libya, Zambia, and Algeria.
The upcoming tournament will provide Morocco with an opportunity to defend their continental title on home soil and continue their strong run in African futsal.
Morocco’s preparations will continue on Saturday with a second friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina as the team looks to fine-tune its squad ahead of the continental competition.
