Rabat – Moroccan international Abde Ezzalzouli has secured ninth place among Africa’s most decisive players in Europe’s five major football leagues in 2026, recording 18 goal contributions in 41 appearances.
According to statistics published by The Pop Foot, the winger features among the continent’s top 10 attacking players based on their combined goals and assists this year.
Ezzalzouli’s inclusion highlights his contribution in European football, placing him alongside several established African internationals, including Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah and Algerian striker Amine Gouiri.
The Moroccan ranks ninth with 18 goal contributions, ahead of Malian international Lassine Sinayoko, who completes the top 10 with 16 contributions in 26 appearances.
Algeria’s Gouiri leads the ranking with 24 contributions in 36 matches for Olympique de Marseille, including 19 goals and five assists. Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy follows in second place with 22 contributions in 34 appearances.
Senegal’s Ismaïla Sarr, Ivory Coast’s Nicolas Pépé, and Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo occupy the next three positions, each recording 20 goal contributions.
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah ranks sixth with 19 contributions in 32 matches, level with Nigerian forwards Akor Adams and Ademola Lookman, who occupy seventh and eighth place, respectively.
Ezzalzouli’s position among these players places him among Africa’s leading attacking performers in the ranking, which measures offensive contributions rather than goals alone.
The figures also highlight the presence of Moroccan talent among Africa’s most productive players in Europe’s major leagues in 2026.
