Agadir – Al Barid Bank and MAROAPP have signed a partnership agreement to facilitate access to financial services for delivery workers, order preparers, and independent workers registered under Morocco’s auto-entrepreneur status.

The agreement, signed in Casablanca on October 21, aims to bring banking services closer to professionals working in Morocco’s delivery sector and provide them with financial solutions tailored to their needs.

MAROAPP operates in last-mile delivery and related services through its brands Kaalix, Livry, and Livry Santé.

Through the partnership, the two organizations will combine their expertise to improve financial inclusion among delivery professionals and help independent workers access suitable banking services.

For Al Barid Bank, the agreement supports its mission to expand access to financial services. For MAROAPP, it reflects the company’s commitment to supporting its workforce and recognizing the value of its human capital.

Bahia Bennis, Director of Marketing and External Communications at Al Barid Bank Group, said financial inclusion plays an important role in promoting independence and social progress.

She added that the partnership reinforces the bank’s commitment to making banking services more accessible and helping independent workers strengthen their financial autonomy and integrate into the formal economy.

Sofia Amrani, Deputy Managing Director of MAROAPP, said delivery workers, order preparers, and other employees contribute to the quality of services the company provides to its clients and partners.

She noted that many independent workers play an essential role in MAROAPP’s operating model, adding that the company’s responsibility extends beyond providing work opportunities to helping them access services that strengthen their financial independence.

Amrani described the agreement as a concrete step toward that goal.

The two partners said they aim to make financial inclusion a driver of individual and collective progress and contribute to a more inclusive economy.
