Rabat – Summer is for spending quality time with loved ones, enjoying the beautiful weather, and trying new activities to get out of your usual routine. Morocco offers a perfectly warm atmosphere that attracts tourists from all over the world, most of them flocking to Morocco’s lively cities and crystal clear beaches.

Summer 2023 is the perfect time to relink and catch up with those friends that you might have lost contact with amidst busy schedules during the year. To make sure you get the best value for your summer break, it is wise to thoroughly plan your activities.

Here is a list of fun activities to do with your friends this summer season.

1- Plan a beach day

One of the best summertime activities is to go on a beach trip with your friends. Gather all your favorite board and ball games and pack them up to enjoy a chill day on the sand.

To get out of your comfort zone and experience something new, you can  opt for aquatic activities like surfing and wakeboarding.

Packing up a disposable or Polaroid camera can also be entertaining and allows you to capture sweet friendship memories that you will treasure for a lifetime.

2- Go to festivals

If you’re into art and music, a nice way to enjoy your summer is to attend music festivals. Morocco offers a variety of festivals that not only highlight Moroccan musical heritage but also showcase many renowned Western artists.

Amongst the most famous music festivals is the Gnaoua Festival in Essaouira as well as the Jazzablanca Festival in Casablanca.

3- Go on a picnic with friends

Not feeling like going for a swim and just wanting to enjoy the beautiful nature with your close friends is the perfect time to plan a picnic date.

Prepare your favorite food, pack your snacks, and find the closest park near you. It can also be fun and aesthetically pleasing to carefully decorate your setting with your favorite flowers and plates.

Picnics can be a great way to celebrate your special dates and contribute to your well-being and mood enhancement.

4-Organize a sports game

If you’re ever bored of monotonous activities this summer, it is probably time to enjoy a football or basketball game with your closest friends.

Being active and consistently taking care of your body through physical movement is widely known as a healthy way to embrace a clean lifestyle.

However, sports aren’t only enjoyed for health purposes but can also allow for great bonding between friends and family members.

Above all, your summer break doesn’t have to be all perfect and flawless, you just have to enjoy the little moments and thrive while doing different activities that bring you joy and happiness.
