Morocco offers an attractive platform for investments of Japanese enterprises exporting to Africa and Europe, underscored on Monday, Vice President of the Japanese Business Federation Akio Dobashi.

“Morocco’s geographic location provides an attractive platform for various Japanese enterprises that export to Africa and Europe,” Dobashi told MAP following a meeting in Tokyo with Foreign Minister Saad Dine El Otmani.

Morocco’s business climate was substantially improved and Japanese businessmen are willing to invest in the Kingdom, he said.

Dobashi also noted that several Japanese companies are already operating in Morocco, notably in the sectors of industry, fisheries, new technologies and energy.

El Othmani for his part showcased Morocco’s strategic location, its Free Trade Agreements, its skilled labor force and its business climate.
