Rabat – OCP Group has reported that Al Moutmir, an initiative the Moroccan company launched in 2018, has so far helped 50,000 farmers across Morocco to increase their productivity, in addition to conducting over 58,000 soil fertility analyses.
In partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, the initiative aims to provide training for farmers and help them modernize farming methods to increase productivity.
The initiative deploys agriculture engineers in multiple provinces within Morocco to support farmers.
Overall, 30 experts in agriculture will remain permanently deployed, providing training, monitoring, and technical support to farmers.
In addition to providing the know-how, the OCP Group initiative also provides free-of-charge lab services to help farmers monitor the soil.
In 2021, OCP Group collaborated with Credit Agricole banking group to create “Imtiazat-e,” a financing solution for Moroccan farmers; the solution is accessible through the initiative’s mobile application “@tmar.”
The application offers a wide range of services and down-to-earth guides for farmers. It has approximately 300,000 users, showcasing the popularity of the user-friendly mobile app.

OCP Group’s product-oriented initiative also aims to be inclusive. By targeting different age segments, Al Moutmir is contributing to the socio-economic development of women and young people.
The initiative takes pride in being 100% by Moroccans and for Moroccans. The technological tools provided are Moroccan-made and human resources are also 100% Moroccan.
The initiative targets farmers’ concerns and aims to provide optimal solutions, with. digital solutions provided by the OCP Groups are only a few clicks away.
Among the many services provided is helping farmers understand the exact type of fertilizers needed to increase annual yields.
