Rabat – According to the English media outlet ArseDevils, the Premier League club Arsenal FC is planning to make a bid for the Moroccan international footballer Brahim Diaz.

“Arsenal are preparing to make a move for Real Madrid attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz during the coming summer transfer window,” the club wrote on its official website.

ArseDevils reported on Sunday that the club has made a €60 million offer for the services of the Real Madrid star and the new Atlas Lion, pending the Merengues’ approval.

After spending three years on loan at AC Milan, Diaz has recently  sparked attention at Real Madrid, with his market value significantly increasing from €20 million to €35 million, according to the most recent report from the specialized website Transfermarkt.

Diaz’s crucial role at Real Madrid this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists, has prompted Arsenal to recruit his services.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is enjoying a fantastic season under the management of Mikel Arteta. The team is currently ranked second in the Premier League standings after Liverpool FC.

Additionally, the English squad will clash with Bayern Munich on April 9, as part of the first leg quarter-final of UEFA Champions League.

In order to reinforce its squad and continue to feature among the top Premier League clubs, Arsenal has its sights on other players such as goalkeeper David Raya, who is currently on loan at Brentford FC.

2019 saw Arsenal’s fortunes change with the signing of Arteta. The club’s strength and skill keeps improving with the passing of time.

Diaz has become a new Atlas Lion after recently choosing to represent the Moroccan national football team. So far, he has played two matches with Morocco and has shown promising skills with the Moroccan squad.
