Rabat – Air Arabia Maroc announced today the launch of a new direct route connecting Tetouan Saniat R’mel Airport to the Rotterdam the Hague Airport in the Netherlands.

The airline said the new route will be operational, starting October 28 – with flights scheduled every Monday.

Flights departing from Tetouan will take off at 2:20 p.m. Moroccan time, with the arrival scheduled at 17:30 p.m.

Flights from Rotterdam will take off at 6:20 p.m. and will arrive at 9:25 p.m. The airline called on its customers to check the new offers through its website, call centers, or travel agencies.

“Air Arabia Maroc continues to expand its network by launching several direct connections from Tétouan to seven major European cities, including Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bilbao, and Madrid,” the company stated in the announcement.

The flight reflects the airline’s strategy and commitment to enhancing connectivity between Moroccan destinations and major European cities, the airline added, noting that its customers can enjoy, accumulate, transfer, and use their points for exclusive benefits through its “Air Rewards” loyalty program.

The launch of the flight comes as Morocco continues to boost efforts to attract tourists and also encourage locals to explore the country’s tourism destinations.

On Monday, Morocco’s Tourism Office (ONMT) launched “Ntla9awfbladna,” a campaign encouraging national tourists to explore Morocco’s tourism assets.

“The launch of this campaign coincides with the school holidays to encourage travelling during this period, while highlighting the importance of using common transport means when travelling,” the statement on the new communication campaign reads.

Since the beginning of this year, the country has welcomed 11.8 million tourists, with 1.8 million recorded in August.
