Fez — GITEX’s 45th edition is expected to draw more than 200,000 technology executives from over 180 countries, with 6,500+ companies and 400+ government entities exhibiting across themes spanning AI, sustainability, cybersecurity, and mobility—underscoring the show’s scale in the regional and global tech calendar.

HONOR says its presence will be highly interactive, inviting visitors to move between smartphones, laptops, tablets, and wearables to see how the portfolio connects in daily life. The company’s booth is located at CC2-13A in Concourse 2 (outside Hall 8), with zones dedicated to AI-driven productivity and creativity. On opening day, HONOR GCC General Manager Debo Zhang will host a Tech Talks 24 session, “Empowering Users Against AI Deepfakes.”

Beyond hardware, HONOR plans to foreground cybersecurity-minded features, most notably AI Deepfake Detection, reflecting GITEX’s focus on trust and safety in a fast-digitizing region. The brand is not tying a new device launch to the show, emphasizing instead a steady release cadence across 2025.

Full Q&A

Q: What is HONOR planning to show at GITEX GLOBAL 2025?

A: At GITEX, we’re not just showcasing our hardware – we’re demonstrating how our ecosystem of smartphones, laptops, and wearables works together to make life simpler and more connected. Beyond the devices, we’ll be highlighting how HONOR’s AI technology enhances everyday tasks, boosts productivity, and adds real value.

This year, with GITEX’s spotlight firmly on Cybersecurity, we’re also bringing forward one of the most timely innovations in our portfolio: AI Deepfake Detection. HONOR was the first smartphone brand to introduce this feature, and it directly addresses one of the fastest-growing threats in the digital world. Deepfakes are no longer just curiosities; they can be used for fraud, spreading false information, and damaging reputations. For a region like the Middle East, where the digital economy is expanding at speed, the ability to build trust in online interactions is essential. By showcasing this at GITEX, we want to underscore how HONOR is not only pushing AI innovation but also leaning into its responsibility to make technology safer, smarter, and more human-centric.

Q: Why is it important for HONOR to be part of GITEX in Dubai?

A: For us, GITEX is an important moment to connect with people and showcase what’s next in technology. It’s not only about meeting innovators and industry leaders, but also about showing customers how our full ecosystem and latest AI-powered devices can add real value to their daily lives. Being part of GITEX also means joining a global cultural conversation around how technology is shaping the way we live, work, and create – and we want HONOR’s voice to be right there in the middle of it.

Q: Are there any new phones or devices that HONOR will launch during the event?

A: We’re not introducing a brand-new product at GITEX itself. The truth is, we’ve been busy all year bringing new devices to market with our customers in mind – 2025 alone has already seen the HONOR 400 Pro, Magic V5, Magic 7 Pro, Magic Pad 3, and more. For us, it’s less about tying launches to a single event and more about a steady rhythm of innovation that meets people’s needs as they evolve. That said, there’s always more in the pipeline, and you can expect to see additional news from HONOR before the year is over.

Q: Will HONOR be working with new partners or companies at GITEX this year?

A: We’re always in conversations with potential partners, and some of those talks are ongoing right now. If the timing works out, GITEX could be the right moment to introduce something new. For us, partnerships aren’t just about logos on a slide – they’re about expanding the HONOR ecosystem, so our products feel even more connected to people’s lives, with AI solutions playing a central role in that journey. We are in discussion with local partners to ensure AI solutions are adapted effectively to our markets, making them more relevant and useful for local users.

Q: How will visitors at GITEX be able to experience HONOR’s products and technology?

A: We don’t want people just looking at devices behind glass. We want them to touch them, try them, and experience them. At GITEX, visitors can move from a phone to a laptop to a wearable and see how seamlessly they work together. Located at CC2-13A in Concourse 2 (outside Hall 8), our booth will feature flagship smartphones, tablets, laptops, wearables, and the wider HONOR ecosystem, with dedicated zones showing how AI simplifies tasks, boosts productivity, and fuels creativity. In addition, on the first day of the event, our very own Debo Zhang, General Manager of HONOR GCC, will deliver a Tech Talks 24 session titled “Empowering Users Against AI Deepfakes,” further underlining HONOR’s commitment to responsible AI and cybersecurity in today’s digital age.

Q: What makes HONOR different from other smartphone brands at GITEX?

A: HONOR may be a relatively young brand, but in a short time we’ve achieved milestones that show both our ambition and our ability to deliver. What defines us is our vision, which we call the Alpha Plan. It’s our roadmap to build a human-centric AI ecosystem where technology doesn’t just perform tasks, it enhances the way people live, work, and create.

At GITEX, we’re showcasing technologically advanced devices across smartphones, laptops, and wearables, all designed to connect seamlessly and add value to daily life. And with the Alpha Plan guiding our future, we invite people to imagine how HONOR and its products will evolve in the next five years – smarter, more connected, and even more meaningful to everyday experiences.

Q: After GITEX, what can people in the Middle East expect next from HONOR?

A: After GITEX, our focus stays the same – bringing more products and technologies into the hands of customers across the region. 2025 has already been a busy year for us with multiple launches, and we’re keeping that pace. You can expect more devices, deeper partnerships, and technology that feels less like a feature list and more like tools that genuinely fit into people’s lives. For us, it’s about staying consistent, building momentum, and showing what a human-centric AI brand can really deliver.
